Book Review: Transforming Church in Rural America
Admittedly, I didn't think I'd like this book very much, but I did. It's all about transforming the mindset of the modern-day rural America church in order to help them grow and not stay stagnant and out of touch. This guy, Shannon O'Dell was a youth pastor in a large city when he felt God calling him to be a senior pastor to a tiny church in the boonies. He resisted it at first, but the results he achieved, when he finally acquiesced to the Lord's will, are phenomenal. A great read for anybody especially if you are in the ministry. Two more book reviews coming your way. Can you tell I'm behind?
